Museum Boerhaave – National Museum of the History of Science and Medicine
As the national treasury of scientific endeavours, the museum shows some 400 years of advances in knowledge. The emphasis is on contributions from the Netherlands. Some top object from our collection are the microscopes of Van Leeuwenhoek, anatomical models from Auzoux, Huygens’ pendulum clocks and many more fascinating scientific instruments.
